35 Engr Regt

35 Engineer Regiment is part of Force Troops Command (FTC) and supports 20 Armoured Infantry Brigade. The Regiment is located in the Cathedral city of Paderborn, Germany and resides in Barker Barracks.

The Regiment is formed into 4 Squadrons: 29 Armoured Engineer Squadron, 37 Armoured Engineer Squadron, 77 Armoured Engineer Squadron, 44 Headquarters and Support Squadron, and a REME Light Aid Detachment (LAD).

Each Armoured Engineer Squadron provides close engineer support to the battlegroups within 20 Armoured Infantry Brigade, predominantly with the TITAN bridge layer, the TROJAN armoured engineer vehicle, and combat engineer sections.

This capability enables the battlegroups to move, live and fight within their areas of operations. More specialised capabilities are held in the Headquarters and Support Squadron, such as reconnaissance, construction design and survey, diving, plant and general support bridging.
