Advise Soldiers and Veterans on; resettlement opportunities and services available, further education and professional accreditation opportunities and possible career path changes within the Corps or MOD.
Retain Service personnel in order to provide combined support to the wider Army. This is achieved by emphasising the benefits of Service life including qualifications and wider professional development. We will advise on different career paths within the forces for soldiers who are not content in their current role. Soldiers ultimately feel more secure, knowing that the further they progress in their Army career the greater the opportunities they are likely to have when they decide to leave.
Transition help. Advertisement of employment opportunities through our social media channels with no charge to any advertiser. CV advice and help to tailor them to the job they are seeking. Biannual CV workshops and Networking events allowing all transitioning Service personnel to engage directly with prospective employers. Help when choosing a location to settle and if possible spousal employment possibilities.
Engage with prospective employers and Service personnel at all levels. As raja we actively engage with industry selling what our Corps members can offer their companies. We help employers understand the unique skills, education and ethos that REME soldiers can bring to their organisations. We give employers access to our soldiers during transition and assist them to retrain or certify our soldiers to suit the needs of their organisations. Likewise we present to REME Technicians and Engineers on how to match their skills to those required by industry and how to best present themselves.
