383 Commando Petroleum Troop

383 Commando Petroleum Troop of the Royal Logistic Corps in a unit responsible for the handling, supply and storage of bulk fuels from ship to shore and under front line combat conditions.

It is a Commando unit and all its members must pass the All Arms Commando Course in order to serve with their Regular counterparts in the Commando Logistic Regiment in 3 Commando Brigade, Royal Marines.

Commando trained personnel are also required to carry out training in Arctic and Jungle warfare. This training has been tested during exercises in Norway, Oman and Brunei.

The capacity to work within your trade, one minute, and then change role to that of a Commando in a fighting company, is just one of many challenging expectations.

We achieve consistently good results in military competitions and first rate performances in training and on exercises which symbolises the professionalism of the troop.
