Sport and Adventurous Training

Whatever sporting interests you have you can be sure The RLC can offer you the opportunity to get involved - for fun, in competition, or as part of your ongoing training.

You have to be fit to join us and we invest in our sports men and women at all levels from novice to Olympic athletes.

In addition if you want to train as a sports specialist and become an RLC physical training instructor we will support you through the process with pay, training and opportunity to be best you can be.

With over 16,000 men and women in the Corps, we've got plenty of people who are interested in everything from athletics to yachting.

Paid to play sport

As a soldier you will be paid to play sport as part of your daily routine.

You'll have the opportunity to travel all over the world to represent the RLC, the Army and perhaps even your country.

As an officer as well as playing sport, you'll be leading, organising and managing large sports events, ongoing training, and sporting competitions.
