Sergeant Spencer Barfield

Corporal Spencer Barfield Spencer is a Sergeant in the Royal Logistic Corps and has served on operations in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sergeant Spencer Barfield joined the Army in 1996 as an infantry solider in the Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment and during his time with the Regiment he deployed on various exercises around the world and completed a 6 month tour in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Spencer left the army in 2003 to scratch an itch but rejoined in 2007 into the Royal Logistic Corps as a driver. Since then he has served with 2 Medical Regiment in Hohne, Germany, deployed to Afghanistan with the Joint Force Medical Group and worked with 27 Regiment RLC in Aldershot.

Spencer has also completed operational tours in Bosnia and Iraq and joined the Group in September 2014. A keen sportsman, Spencer enjoys rugby and cycling.
