Headquarters Army Air Corps

Headquarters Army Air Corps is based at Middle Wallop, Hampshire, the home of the Corps. Also located here is the Regimental Headquarters and functional support departments to the Corps.

2 (Trg) Regt AAC and 7 (Trg) Regt AAC come under the command of Army Aviation Centre, Middle Wallop, Hampshire. 2 Regt AAC is comprised of an HQ Sqn, 668 Sqn and 676 Sqn. 7 Regt AAC is comprised of an HQ Sqn, 670 Sqn and 673 Sqn.

1 Regiment Army Air Corps

1 Regiment Army Air Corps

1 Regt AAC based at Yeovilton, Somerset, comes under the command of Headquarters Aviation Reconnaissance Force (HQARF). 1 Regt AAC is comprised of an HQ Sqn, 652 Sqn, 661 Sqn and 659 Sqn.

3 Regiment Army Air Corps

3 Regiment Army Air Corps

3 Regt AAC based at Wattisham, Suffolk, comes under the command of Headquarters Attack Helicopter Force (HQAHF). 3 Regt AAC is comprised of an HQ Sqn, 662 Sqn and 663 Sqn. 653 Sqn, Conversion To Role Sqn (CTR), comes under the direct command of HQAHF.

4 Regiment Army Air Corps

4 Regiment Army Air Corps

4 Regt AAC based at Wattisham, Suffolk, comes under the command of Headquarters Attack Helicopter Force (HQAHF) and is comprised of an HQ Sqn, 656 Sqn and 664 Sqn.

5 Regiment Army Air Corps

5 Regt AAC based at Aldergrove, Northern Ireland, comes under the command of Headquarters Aviation Reconnaissance Force (HQARF) and is comprised of an HQ Sqn, 651 Sqn and 665 Sqn.

6 Regiment Army Air Corps

6 Regiment Army Air Corps

6 Regt AAC is the Army Air Corps’ Reserves Regiment, is comprised of an HQ Sqn, based at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, 675 Sqn, 677 Sqn , 678 Sqn and 679 Sqn.

9 Regiment Army Air Corps

9 Regiment Army Air Corps

9 Regiment Army Air Corps, previously comprised of 659 Sqn AAC, 669 Sqn AAC, 672 Sqn AAC and an HQ Sqn, was disbanded in 2016 and officially removed from the Army ORBAT 31 Jul 16. The Squadrons have been re-roled into the Wildcat Helicopter programme.
