Our IT courses develop your existing knowledge and provide you with highly transferable skills in a range of software applications.

Learning and Development

These qualifications are suited to those who support others with their own learning programmes.

The assessor and internal verifier qualifications are required by soldiers involved in assessing or verifying apprenticeships for RACPD. These qualifications are highly valued by civilian employers, and will improve your employment prospects outside of the military.

Logistics

Most military personnel will be affected by the logistics trade, whether driving military vehicles or moving vehicle platforms.

Our courses are designed to help you in your current role but also to prepare you for a future one. We keep up to date with the latest civilian driving laws and directives so you achieve a nationally recognised qualification that you can use after your military career.

Logistics

Horse Care qualifications

If you join The King's Troop RHA, you will be offered the opportunity to achieve an Apprenticeship or NVQ qualification in Horse Care at Levels 2 and 3, and other civilian equine qualifications, such as Equine Transport.

Leadership and Management

Our Leadership & Management qualifications endorse the extensive management and leadership skills you have gained over your military career.

They also cover topics such as budgets, finance and marketing, all of which are highly regarded, if not essential in a civilian job role.

This course is suitable for anyone looking to work in the private security industry. This includes anyone thinking of becoming a Door Supervisor or anyone wishing to work as Festival Security.

Paying for your qualifications

Most qualifications offered are free or are very heavily subsidised by the Gunners. The Army offers generous annual allowances for your personal development, and an enhanced allowance which could be worth up to £6,000 after 8 years' service.
